Like With the Corvette, Why Make the Sports Cars White Resulting in Half the Collection Being White Cars?

This is the Luxury Tax Dodge Viper vehicle that came out in Johnny Lightning's original Monopoly release of 12 vehicles in 2000. It's one of six white vehicles in the first series. There were actually quite a few different series of Monopoly themed vehicles released after the initial 12 (which were incidentally released again with six additional vehicles as series 2).

This Dodge is quite well detailed and is a nicer white than the other five white vehicles. I question though why paint the Dodge white when there are so many other more sporty colours available. Anyway of the white cars it is the nicest. On the roof is the Monopoly picture of the old moustache guy holding his cane (same as in Monopoly word on packaging). Luxury Tax is in capitals on both doors as are the words pay $75.00 in smaller sized font. Also on the sides is a yellow ring and the white texted inside red rectangle Monopoly symbol which is on the top rear sides. The two texts and ring are also on the bonnet.

Like all did in the first release it comes with a bonus playing token version of the same car which is also very well detailed.

Johnny Lightning pretty much always make great vehicles, with attention to detail far better than anything Matchbox, Hot Wheels and other rivals put out.
